Role Overview
We’re seeking a mission-aligned Pediatric Content Advisor to ensure the medical accuracy, clinical relevance, and developmental appropriateness of all content on the AmaLumi platform. You’ll collaborate with our design, research, and AI teams to curate and validate pediatric information that is both evidence-based and emotionally supportive.
This role is ideal for a board-certified pediatrician, pediatric nurse practitioner, or early childhood development expert passionate about health equity and innovative family-centered care.
Responsibilities
Create, review and curate pediatric topics across developmental stages (e.g., feeding, sleep, growth, common illnesses, milestones)
Ensure all content aligns with CDC, WHO, AAP, and HIPAA standards
Translate complex pediatric guidance into parent-friendly, supportive language
Advise AI/UX teams on risk-sensitive language and emotional tone
Contribute insights for Lumi Pearls reward triggers tied to health-positive behaviors
Offer input on product development and in-app recommendations
Help develop pathways for pediatricians to eventually contribute content and partner with AmaLumi
Qualifications
Must-Have:
Medical degree (MD/DO, board certification preferred), pediatric NP, or equivalent with clinical experience
Familiarity with early childhood milestones and common parent concerns
Strong interest in health communication, parent education, or digital health
Knowledge of HIPAA
Comfort with reviewing content for tone, inclusivity, and accessibility
Nice-to-Have:
Experience with telehealth, parenting apps, or mental health platforms
Developmental psychology, or family systems
Cultural competency, diverse patient experience
