Description:

Executive Business Assistant - Investments

Location: New York, NY (On-site)

Our client, a global investment shop with a collaborative, high-performance culture, is seeking a dynamic Executive Business Assistant to support senior leadership in their New York office. This is not your typical administrative role — the ideal candidate will operate as a strategic partner to bankers, ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day business activities while keeping high-level initiatives on track.

Key Responsibilities:

Support senior executives, managing complex calendars, coordinating meetings, and preparing materials to ensure readiness for internal and external engagements.

Act as a liaison across internal teams (deal teams, HR, compliance, marketing, etc.) to drive timely follow-through on initiatives, meetings, and strategic priorities.

Own the logistics and planning of internal events, roadshows, offsites, and investor meetings with attention to detail and professionalism.

Maintain and improve internal workflows and operational processes to support deal execution, client service, and internal efficiency.

Support the onboarding of new hires, collaborating with HR and IT to ensure a seamless experience.

Assist in tracking and following up on key action items from meetings, maintaining accountability and momentum for leadership and team initiatives.

Prepare communications, presentations, reports, and other materials, ensuring accuracy and clarity.

Help drive a positive office culture by being a go-to resource and problem solver, fostering a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in an executive assistant, operations, or business support role—preferably in investment banking, private equity, or a professional services/financial services environment.

Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, time management, and follow-through.

Strong communication skills—written and verbal—with a polished, professional presence.

A proactive, no-task-too-small mentality with the ability to anticipate needs and stay five steps ahead.

High level of discretion and judgment in handling confidential information.

Comfortable navigating fast-paced, high-stakes environments with shifting priorities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel); experience with CRM or workflow tools is a plus.

This role will pay up to $200,000 total compensation (base + bonus)
