Electrical Controls Engineer

We are hiring an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to lead the design, programming, and maintenance of complex automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and implement advanced PLC, HMI, and servo control systems

· Supervise and mentor a team of Controls Technicians

· Lead machine installations, electrical upgrades, and troubleshooting

· Perform root cause analysis, system testing, and software modifications

· Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, production, IT, and external vendors

· Maintain and improve data collection and historian systems

· Ensure safety compliance and develop LOTO procedures

· Manage small capital projects and contribute to budgeting and planning

Required Skills & Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

· 4+ years of experience in industrial controls within manufacturing

· Advanced skills in PLC (Rockwell/Siemens), HMI, and servo systems

· Strong understanding of electrical theory and AutoCAD for schematics

· Experience with networking protocols, data systems, and project tools

· Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities

· Proven leadership and ability to work cross-functionally
