Job Purpose
This leadership role is responsible for implementation and operational aspect of the Company’s network and voice Infrastructure. This role will coordinate technical activities of the team to provide stable operation, high performance, and availability of the core network throughout the organization. Provides cross-functional technical oversight, and compliance with technical standards. Be able to assist with coaching, escalation and delegation of tasks and activities.Development of the team will be a priority in supporting our growing initiatives.
What you will do
• Provide technical leadership to team members to achieve organizational goals and coordinate with teams to ensure business needs are properly implemented and satisfy the business processes defined for the project/initiative
• Collaborate closely with other teams (e.g. Network Engineering, Desktop Engineering, Cloud Services and Applications) to provide consultation and technical administration for projects, initiatives, and general operations to ensure performance, availability, and security across platforms
• Document process design, process workflow, process instructions, etc.
• Serve as the Operational Lead for Company’s network/voice managed services to assure incident and service requests are met within the agreed upon Service Level Agreements
• Understands departmental billing mechanism, code. and track invoices. Prepare and track capital and expense within the department budget
• Monitor and report on network and voice system performance and providing status to management
• Serve as the primary escalation point for operational issues to ensure incident and problem resolution
• Drives problem investigations and resolution as required
• Completes reports and summaries for management including project status, problem reports and progress summaries.
• Coordinates network and voice vendor support and vendor performance reviews
• Coordinates and manages complex issues, coordinating appropriate technical personnel, workplan, deadlines and driving customer communications until issue resolution
Requirements
• 10+ years of relevant work experience in network and voice solutions
• Technical experience in network, VoIP, data center, and wireless
• Experience working with, designing, and supporting IP Telephony, Linux, Microsoft Server, VMware virtual environments, specifically datacenter networking
• Experience with Cloud Services including AWS, OCI and Azure
• Experience leading projects developing and/or deploying network infrastructure
• Experience managing telecom, hardware, and service vendors to meet business objectives and SLAs
• Excellent troubleshooting skills & problem resolution
• ITIL certification preferred
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, other related field or equivalent work experience.; advanced degree preferred.

• Self-starters with a good work ethic, the ability to work independently or as a team
• Great customer service skills
