FP&A Analyst
Location: Fairfield County, CT (hybrid, beautiful office setting)
Compensation: $100,000–$115,000 base salary + bonus + strong growth opportunity

Forum Group Connecticut has been exclusively engaged by one of Fairfield County’s fastest-growing consumer goods companies to identify two outstanding Financial Planning & Analysis Analysts. Backed by a respected private equity sponsor, this firm is scaling quickly and building out a best-in-class finance organization to match. These are newly created, high-impact roles offering visibility, challenge, and the chance to shape the company’s financial decision-making processes.
Position Summary:
These FP&A Analysts will be embedded in the corporate finance team and play a vital role in delivering analytical support to senior leadership. Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years of relevant experience, strong financial modeling skills, and advanced proficiency in Excel. You’ll need to be curious, proactive, and comfortable owning your work—this is a firm that rewards initiative and values ideas.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range plans
Analyze variances between actuals, forecast, and budget, and prepare insightful commentary
Build and maintain financial models to support business decisions across sales, operations, and product
Partner with business units to understand key drivers, track KPIs, and provide actionable recommendations
Develop and present financial reporting packages to senior leadership and private equity stakeholders
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, automation, and data integrity
Support the month-end close process by validating data and aligning results to forecasts
Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to evaluate new business opportunities, pricing strategy, or cost initiatives
Work closely with Accounting, Operations, and other cross-functional partners
Qualifications:
1–3 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or public accounting with financial analysis exposure
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets and financial models
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
