BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) and other aerospace system development, acquisition, operations, and sustainment efforts. This systems engineer will work with a highly skilled team providing engineering support for ICBM test capabilities, integrating efforts across the ICBM enterprise and other DoD customers and stakeholders.

The Role
BAE is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join the Futures Division. You will be part of a tight-knit team charged with supporting the development and acquisition of ICBM Test Capabilities projects to include test systems and delivery supporting hardware development, experimental flight test, advanced materials, and future technology insertion for ICBM weapon systems. Specifically, you will directly support the Test Capabilities Branch Program Manager in ground and flight test capabilities, design and implementation of new high-level test capabilities, and nuclear hardness and survivability testing for the existing and next generation ICBM. You will work with the government customer, University Affiliated Research Centers (UARCs) and test facilities in the review and assessment of test planning, design, and documentation to meet fielding requirements and timelines.

BS/MS Eng., Computer Science, Software, Mathematics, or Physics.
7 yrs (5 yrs with MS degree) of progressive experience in systems integration and analysis of military hardware and software systems/processes.
2 yrs experience leading system design, integration, and analytical efforts
At least 3 years progressive responsibility in providing technical leadership
Active U.S. Government Secret clearance with a background investigation completed < 6 years prior to hiring
