This position is for an F-35 One-Time Inspection (OTI) Time Compliance Technical Directive (TCTD) Author.
The role will be located at the customer site in Ft Worth, Texas.
Candidate will provide technical expertise and support in the development, planning, and implementing Immediate, Urgent, Safety, and Routine Inspection TCTD’s in accordance with 2YZA02393, Production Asset Inspection Requirements (PAIRs) and SOI 1514.01. Authoring and developing inspection TCTDs containing the necessary planning elements (engineering scope, inspection, repair and/or replacement procedures, team size, skill composition, equipment tooling assessment, maintenance level, TCTD authoring assessment, and out of service times). Support change integration through Engineering and Sustainment PAIR Boards review/approval cycle.
Technical requirements:
Inspection TCTDs: Provide solutions developing Immediate, Urgent, Safety and Routine One-Time Inspection with repair solutions IAW: Production Asset Inspection Requirements (PAIRs), Government Furnished Instructions (GFI), Notice of Escapes (NOE), Quarterly PAIR Baselines and Analytical Condition Inspections (ACI). Will attend Engineering and Sustainment PAIR Boards.
Selected candidate will be able to determine and support TCTD planning elements: Engineering Scope, repair and/or replacement procedures, team size, skill composition, equipment tooling assessment, maintenance level, TCTD authoring assessment, Man-Hours, and Out-of-Service times.TCTDs development requires constant engagement and coordination amongst required stakeholders such as: Engineering, Planning, Procurement, Supply Chain, applicable Integrated Product Teams (IPT’s), Lightning Support Team (LST) and country partners, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Customers, and Tier III teaming partners BAE Systems UK, Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman.
A.S. in Aerospace, Engineering, Aviation Mgt, or related technical field with a minimum of 6yrs related experience. Education requirement may be waived based on specific /related job experience.
F-35 program experience highly desired. Understanding of F-35 or similar aircraft maintenance and modification programs. Knowledge of Production Asset Inspection Requirements (PAIRs) US military aircraft maintenance / maintenance management. Eligible US security clearance.
Experience utilizing F-35 tools such as: JTD, PDM, JDL, VAS, Atlas, LDM, Vista, LIST, etc.
Full complements of MS Office tools.
