**Job Title: Construction Laborer**

**Job Description**

As a construction laborer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of general labor duties on new construction roofing projects. Your tasks will include removing debris, using shovels, cutting materials and loading them onto carts, hauling trash, assisting with laying insulation, attaching materials, and cleaning up the work area to maintain organization.

**Responsibilities**

+ Remove debris from construction sites.

+ Use shovels and other hand tools effectively.

+ Cut up materials and load them onto carts for disposal.

+ Haul away trash and dump it appropriately.

+ Assist with laying insulation and attaching materials.

+ Clean up materials and tools to keep the work area organized.

**Essential Skills**

+ Experience working on a construction job site.

+ Comfortable using basic hand tools, such as shovels.

+ Ability to perform manual labor tasks.

+ Familiarity with power tools and concrete work.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience in labor-intensive jobs, such as concrete work.

+ Roofing experience is a significant advantage.

+ Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods (8+ hours per day).

**Work Environment**

You will be working on new construction job sites, primarily on the roofs of buildings with low-slope roofing. Safety guards are in place, and work will be conducted in various weather conditions. The job requires comfort with both heat and cold elements. The work schedule includes Monday through Thursday, with 10-hour days.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Johnsonville, Tennessee.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
