POSITION SUMMARY:

In this pivotal role, youll help shape the employee journey from day oneensuring smooth, engaging onboarding experiences while championing initiatives that promote long-term satisfaction, belonging, and growth. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job Posting
Draft and update job descriptions collaboratively with hiring managers.
Post job announcements to Multiple Platforms.
Monitor posting expiration dates and renew, update, or close job ads as needed.Applicant Tracking:
Coordinate interviews and track candidate's progress through the interview cycle.
Share candidate updates and feedback with recruiters and hiring managers
Schedule interviews and collect evaluation forms.
Ensure positive candidate experience through courteous, informed, and timely updatesReporting and Metrics
Generate and analyze reports on application volume, time-to-hire, and source effectiveness.
Identify bottlenecks or drop-off points in the hiring process.Onboarding
Coordinate and execute new hire onboarding programs, including pre-boarding, orientation sessions, and first-day logistics to ensure a smooth transition from offer to the candidate's first day.
Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during the onboarding period, ensuring they feel welcomed, informed, and supported.
Collaborate with HR, IT, and department leaders to prepare onboarding materials, equipment, and access.
Maintain onboarding checklists and track completion of required documents and training.
Solicit and analyze feedback from new hires to continuously improve onboarding processes.Employee Engagement & Retention:
Plan and coordinate company team engagement events, including planning, reserving facilities and catering, managing RSVPs, coordinating employee travel arrangements, ordering company gifts, and event set-up and tear-down.
Draft newsletter content, employee announcements, and employee recognition posts for LinkedIn.
Conduct stay interviews and exit interviews to gather insights and recommend improvements to reduce turnover.
Monitor employee milestones such as work anniversaries and promotions, and coordinate recognition efforts.
Assist in the implementation of employee welfare programs and initiatives.
Maintain accurate records and data analytics to track trends in onboarding and retention.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. An associates degree combined with at least three years of experience in human resources may be considered in lieu of a bachelors degree.
1+ years of experience in HR, employee engagement, or a similar role (onboarding experience and event planning experience preferred).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for employee experience.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with HRIS systems (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, etc.) is a plus.
High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and organizational skills.PREFERRED SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:

The Onboarding and Retention Coordinators performance is evaluated based on the performance objectives below.
Proactively manage job postings, conduct prompt and effective candidate screening and communication, and swiftly identify any obstacles that may impact time-to-hire goals.
Accurate and efficient tracking of candidates through the recruitment and hiring process.
Deliver a seamless onboarding experience through clear, consistent communication with both new hires and hiring managers.
Conduct organized and on-time event planning, coordination, and execution of high-quality company employee engagement events.
Craft creative, timely employee announcements that inform, engage, and reflect the organizations culture and values.
