The Senior Technician works on customer sites in a variety of environments including new construction, remodels, and operating facilities. A Senior Technician is also responsible for complying with Encore standards for Safety, Culture and Customer Service.
Compensation for this Position: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour, plus additional job site incentive

Specific Responsibilities:
Must be capable of conducting and or participating in morning huddles, safety talks, trade walks, meetings, etc.
Ability to communicate and work alongside design teams and engineers for successful execution of projects
Work independently or as part of a team, able and willing to take direction and execute those directives effectively and efficiently
Demonstrate a basic understanding of construction administration processes
Must thoroughly understand the project schedule, scope of work, bill of materials, jobsite budget, project specifications, and specific jobsite requirements
Performs regular QA/QC checks to ensure product meets specifications and standards.
Communicate with Owner, General Contractor, Supervisor and other trades frequently regarding the progress and coordination of the project to ensure the most efficient and satisfactory installation possible
Communicate with the Project Manager any changes or impacts to the project immediately
Along with the Project Manager, develop proactive and trusted relationships with Owner, Client, General Contractor, and other trade partners in relation to installation and installation schedule
Lead all onsite installation, testing and commissioning
Frequently analyze project requirements as needed, may include manpower, materials, safety, equipment, and special project needs
Responsible for protection and preservation of all stored equipment/tools/material
Participate in required jobsite Safety Meeting and Huddles
Understand and follow safety guidelines, if working with others, ensure they are also working in a safe manner
Assist Manager of Safety and Health in performing job hazard analysis
Ensure project closeouts are performed effectively and on time
Participates in training and mentoring of junior staff
Demonstrate consistency in jobsite requirements, leading by example

Specific Responsibilities for Structured Cabling Senior Tech
Read and interpret detailed specifications and drawings, blueprints, schematics, and method of procedures (MOPs)
Demonstrated knowledge of closet build outs
Installing various cable types including low voltage power, fiber, twisted pair, audio, video and DAS and security. Inside and Outside plant
Use a variety of connector types and terminate to industry standards
Terminate indoor and outdoor fiber using the appropriate methods and following industry standards
Testing copper and fiber using industry approved testers. Knowledge of setting up testing units and downloading results as required
Installation of various types of pathways related to running horizontal and backbone cables
Strong knowledge of troubleshooting cable plant and associated equipment
Complete detailed documents of work performed and provide daily status updates
Other duties may be assigned.

Physical Requirements:
