This position is 100% onsite, and no remote or hybrid option is available at this time.

Assist the superior in performing engineering tasks involving limited liability in areas such as design, analysis, testing, equipment configuration, data reduction, and the like in support of department activities and related operations for the manufacture of turbine engine components and ensure that parts and components meet the company's quality and cost requirements.

Coordinate and follow up on routine or less complex engineering assignments through communication with other personnel concerned.

Provide general assistance in preparing reports, proposals, drawings, specifications, and/or other engineering documents by compiling, organizing, or providing basic technical data.

Assist in developing general engineering procedures and specifications relevant to engineering assignments.

Prepare layouts and/or make calculations related to product design and analysis. They may also assist in preparing engineering computer programs and evaluating program output applicable to design assignments.

Participate in the preparation of engineering proposals by compiling or providing technical data, drawings, and the like, and prepare and submit various reports related to the assignment.

Coordinate less complex engineering projects on a technical level and may estimate costs and schedules, develop designs to meet specifications, and liaise with other activities concerned.

Perform other lesser engineering tasks within a department as assigned

Promote and monitor the various computerized systems on the factory floor, such as Online Quality Reports (OQR), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Factory Data Collection (FDC), and similar programs.

Development and monitoring of programs for properly maintaining critical tools and equipment.

Promote and ensure continuous process control (including SPC, if applicable), lean operations, Six Sigma practices, and compliance with 6S requirements.

Perform technical training for new CNC team members, assuring that planning instructions, tools, gauges, and equipment are being used within the required procedures.

M-F 40 hrs./wk. 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field and 2 years of aerospace turbine engine manufacturing experience for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
