**Job Summary:**

Bay-CSS is looking for a compassionate DSP (Direct Support Professional) to join our team at Day Activities in Annapolis, MD. The DSP will provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities, assisting them in various activities to help them achieve their goals and lead fulfilling lives. A valid driver's license with reliable transportation and car insurance is required for this role.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work with individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds

- Compassionate and patient demeanor

- Basic computer skills

- Must pass a background check and obtain a DOT

- Ability to lift at least 50lbs

**Responsibilities:**

- Support individuals in participating in community outings and recreational activities

- Implement individualized care plans and goals in collaboration with the care team

- Document individual progress and any incidents according to company policies

- Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals

- Drive individuals to appointments and activities

- Work Monday - Friday with a pay rate of $21 per hour, plus a $2 weekend shift differential

- May be required to work rotating holidays
