ASRC Federal Holding Company is currently seeking a Pricing Narrative Lead to join our Pricing Group.

This role is remote but prefer that the role be located within a commutable distance to our Reston, VA.

Key Role:

While supporting strategic pursuits across all of ASRC Federal this individual will provide direct support to the Vice President of Pricing by reviewing solicitations and coordinating cost proposals in adherence to the RFP requirements. Prepare timely, accurate and compliant pricing proposals. Participate in the full life-cycle of the proposal to include pricing strategy, proposal planning, development, production and post-submittal activities. Lead the development of pricing narratives; coordinate across shared service teams, review and compile cost submissions. Prepare and participate in proposal pricing/strategy briefs to executive leadership. Work closely with Contracts, Purchasing, Human Resources and Operations to ensure accuracy and coordination of pricing proposals. Utilize existing processes and tools as well as create custom language for unique proposals that result in compliant/quality proposals. Provide direction to subcontractors involved in proposal preparation. Support other pricing team members in preparing responses and review of work.

Basic Qualifications:

2+ years of work experience in a government contracting environment

2+ years of experience in proposals and/or cost volume development

Possess a thorough understanding of Government Federal contract proposal efforts, government documentation, procurement process, proposal preparation, and evaluation and compliance auditing.

Familiar with the Government procurement lifecycle from development of requirements through award of contracts

Deep working knowledge of the current Federal Acquisition Regulations and all its subsidiaries (DFAR, AFAR, GFAR, etc.)

Ability to read and interpret government synopsis, Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Quote (RFQ), Request for Information (RFI) and solicitations.

Must be an accomplished writer with in-depth experience creating proposal related documents; i.e. proposal directives, executive summaries, compliance matrixes, proposal outlines, etc.

Highly proficient in MS Office applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Bachelor's degree or additional work equivalent

Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Government requirements for services, both task orders and strategic contracts preferred.

Knowledge of all contract types including FFP, CPFF, CPAF and T&M preferred.

Familiarity with Government Cost Accounting Principles and the FAR preferred.
