Description

In this role you will report directly into the VP of Operations and be responsible for:

Managing daily production activities to meet schedules and quality standards

Supervising and supporting 20 shop floor staff and operators

Ensuring compliance with clean room protocols and safety regulations

Monitoring equipment performance and coordinating maintenance as needed

Implementing process improvements to boost efficiency and product quality

Overseeing inventory levels and materials handling

Coordinating with engineering and quality teams to resolve production issues

Maintaining accurate production records and reports

Training and developing production staff

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

Experience working directly with operators to identify and resolve production issues

Strong knowledge of 5S principles and proven ability to implement Lean manufacturing practices

Excellent leadership and team management skills

Ability to maintain clean room standards and enforce safety protocols

Solid understanding of machine shop operations and equipment

Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

Strong organizational and communication skills

Experience in maintaining production documentation and reporting

Clean room experience a plus but not required
