Manufacturing Engineer

Local factory is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer in Danville, IL.

This is a direct hire position with a starting salary of $55-75K depending on your experience level. Working schedule of 7:00am - 5:00pm (1 hour for lunch).

Job Duties:

-Develop the SOP for the manufacture parts adhering to the customers’ requirements.

-Point of contact for customers regarding the manufacturing of parts.

-Trouble shoot manufacturing problems in a timely manner.

-Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.

-Use precision measurement equipment.

-Daily use of computer and specific software programs including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, IFS, Unigraphics

-Education in engineering or a related field.

-Proficiency with computer aided 2-D and 3-D design of complex 3-dimensional contours.

-Work experience with lean manufacturing.

-Ability to effectively prioritize and organize daily duties.

-Strong oral and written communication skills
