Financial Controller - Albany, NY, Capital Region

Join a growing industrial company where your financial expertise directly shapes operational success. We're seeking a hands-on Financial Controller with solid manufacturing experience to own the finance functions for one of our clients - from daily accounting to strategic planning.

This is a chance to step into a visible leadership role in a fast-paced, mid-sized manufacturing environment, working shoulder-to-shoulder with operations, projects, and senior leadership.

What You'll Do:

Lead the full accounting cycle (GL, AP/AR, payroll approval, reporting)

Own cash flow, monthly closes, and financial statements

Drive budgeting, forecasting & cost control

Partner with ops to track inventory, job costing, and improve ERP systems

Ensure compliance and maintain strong internal controls

Supervise a small finance team Job Requirements

What You Bring:

Leadership experience with 5+ years of accounting and finance

Manufacturing background is a must

Strong GAAP, cost accounting, and Excel skills

ERP familiarity (SAP, NetSuite, or similar)
