Senior Project Manager - Bradley Concrete

SUMMARY:

At Bradley Concrete, an XL Construction company, our Project Managers are operational leaders who oversee all phases of concrete-focused construction projects. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, field execution, and team leadership to ensure each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Project Managers act as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, field staff, and trade partners-driving field coordination, resource planning, and long-term customer satisfaction. Success in this role demands deep experience in concrete construction, effective communication, and a proactive mindset around planning, execution, and continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Leadership & Execution

Lead all aspects of concrete project management including estimating, formwork and pour sequencing, preconstruction planning, scheduling, procurement, submittals, change orders, RFIs, and financial forecasting

Assemble and manage the concrete control estimate and project-specific cost tracking

Ensure compliance with project permits, inspections, safety plans, and structural testing requirements

Partner with Superintendents to develop work plans and sequencing strategies that ensure safety and schedule adherence

Identify and mitigate jobsite risks and constructability issues as they arise Client & Field Engagement

Lead or support RFQ/RFP development and client proposal efforts

Represent Bradley in all client-facing communications including progress meetings, site walks, and issue resolution

Foster strong relationships with general contractors, design professionals, and trade partners

Manage subcontractor buyout, contract administration, and resolution of scope or performance issues Collaboration & Oversight

Support document control protocols, as-built records, and field documentation updates

Promote internal tools and teams such as VDC, Lean, Sustainability, and SPW to enhance project delivery

Mentor and develop Project Engineers, Coordinators, and field staff

Ensure a culture of safety excellence in compliance with Bradley and XL Construction standards KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)

6+ years of progressive experience managing concrete construction projects, including:

Structural concrete, podium decks, foundations, tilt-up, high-rise cores, parking structures, or slab-on-grade projects

Strong knowledge of sequencing, rebar installation, forming systems, mix design, and curing requirements

Proficient in Microsoft Office, scheduling tools (MS Project or P6), and project cost software (e.g., Vista by Viewpoint)

Demonstrated ability to lead field teams, resolve jobsite issues, and deliver projects with operational excellence

OSHA 10 Certification required (30 preferred)

Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

In accordance with California's pay transparency requirements, the base salary range for this position is $149,000 - $180,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Total compensation may also include performance-based bonuses.
