Power Generation Field Service Technician

Description

We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Manassas, VA.

You will make an impact in the following ways:

Complete repairs on PG products in the field

Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools

Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles

Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies

Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products

Maintain own tools

Responsibilities

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

Experience:

Minimal level of field service related experience

Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products

High Voltage/Low Voltage practical experience an asset

What you will be doing on a daily basis :

PM services on generators (data centers generators and some residential).

Help level 3 techs with more technical jobs and minor repairs.

Afterhours and weekend work will be needed

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

Apprentice Certified Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred)

Current relevant electrical certification

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

A current valid license is required for this role

Be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience

This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
