Demand Planner

Description

onsemi is seeking a highly effective, energetic, and organized individual with great communications skills to be responsible for demand planning. This person facilitates discussion and alignment on a forecast between our sales organization and the business units. This person will be responsible for maintaining an accurate, part level build signal using data and statistical modeling. The build signal will be used by manufacturing and supply planning teams for supply readiness and loading plans. They will be a key driver of the S&OP process.

Responsibilities

Driving alignment and consensus between sales and business units on customer/part level unit forecasts and well as the selling price to be used.

Ensuring integrity of data in our demand forecasting system(Blue Yonder).

Analyzing historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors to predict future demand for product and materials.

Maintaining a weekly part level build plan which will be measured through forecast accuracy.

Collaborate with supply and capacity planning on any demand changes that would require manufacturing and supply adjustments

Key driver of the S&OP process aligning sales, business units, finance, and other supply chain planning functions.

Utilizing data analysis tools and techniques to identify areas of improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, business, or related field.

6+ years purchasing experience as a supply or demand planner.

Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities within established deadlines.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Very strong analytical and data mining skills.

Knowledge and experience in semiconductor supply chains.

Familiarity with statistical forecasting methodologies.

Strong Excel skills.
