A respected hospital in Madison, WI is actively seeking a skilled Travel Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) to join their surgical team. This is a great opportunity to work in a leading healthcare facility known for its excellence in cardiac care.

Assignment Details:

Location: Madison, WI

Position: Travel CVOR RN

Contract Length: 13 weeks with potential for extension

Shift: Days with on-call rotation

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

Deliver perioperative care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR team members

Maintain a sterile surgical environment and adhere to infection control protocols

Monitor patient status and respond to changes during procedures

Document nursing care and maintain accurate patient records

Requirements:

Active RN license in Wisconsin or pact state

Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)

Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR experience

Proficient with cardiovascular surgical procedures and equipment

Strong critical thinking and teamwork skills
