Minimum 1+ years nursing experience required.

An opportunity is available for a dedicated nursing professional to provide essential support to a sixth-grade student in an elementary school setting. This role is crucial for ensuring the student's health and well-being throughout the school day, particularly for medical needs requiring specialized care.

Qualifications:

Current RN or LPN license in Michigan

Experience working with pediatric patients, preferably in a school or similar environment

Familiarity with tracheostomy care and suctioning

Strong munication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and parents

Reliable transportation to and from school

Location:Sterling Heights, MI

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one nursing care to the student, addressing medical needs throughout the day

Acpany the student on the bus, offering support as necessary, including during transportation for trach suctioning

Collaborate with teachers and school staff to ensure a safe and healthy school environment

Maintain accurate records of the students health and any services provided

municate regularly with the students family regarding health concerns and progress
