Position Title: Recruiter
Location: Holland, Michigan
Duration: 3-6 Month Contract to Hire
Pay Rate: $21-$23/Hour
Job Overview:
A client of Insight Global in Chattanooga is seeking a dedicated Recruiter to join a pre-fabricated open-air shelter manufacturer based in Holland, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting for engineering, administrative, production, and skilled trades positions and will thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. This individual will take a proactive, results-oriented approach to recruitment that supports the company’s overall talent acquisition strategy. The role involves managing the full recruitment lifecycle—including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer facilitation—for technical and skilled roles critical to operations.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand position needs and craft tailored recruitment strategies
Identify and engage top talent through diverse sourcing methods, including job boards, LinkedIn, social media, networking, and referrals
Evaluate candidates through resume screening, phone interviews, and technical assessments
Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and internal hiring teams
Manage the offer process, including salary discussions and negotiations when necessary
Keep candidate information accurate and current within the applicant tracking system (ATS)
Deliver a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring journey
Support recruitment across all departments, including manufacturing, skilled trades, maintenance, and administrative roles
Provide weekly hiring updates and key recruitment metrics to HR leadership
Take on additional recruitment-related tasks as needed
Must-Haves:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline is preferred
Demonstrated years of success in recruiting, ideally within engineering or manufacturing sectors
Solid understanding of recruitment strategies and a variety of sourcing methods
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
Skilled at juggling multiple job openings and shifting priorities effectively
Experienced with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and proficient in Microsoft Office tools
Familiarity with technical terminology and job functions in engineering and manufacturing is a plus
Plusses:
Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
Demonstrated proficiency using EPICOR ERP or similar systems
Full-time
