Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.

Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field

Valid 5-year professional Intervention Specialist license

Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and relevant educational legislation

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families

Location: Columbus, OH

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement tailored instructional plans to meet the diverse needs of students

Assess and evaluate student progress through appropriate assessment tools

Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment

Communicate regularly with students, parents, and guardians regarding academic progress and behavior

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student needs and adjustments to IEPs

Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required by the school
