Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector who is experienced in an aerospace manufacturing environment operating under the AS9100 quality system. The ideal candidate will perform inspections on various components, ensuring adherence to quality standards through both First Article and Final Inspections.
Responsibilities
Perform inspections of components using calipers and micrometers.
Complete First Article and Final Inspections.
Measure and record measurement results on Router and AS9102 reports.
Approve incoming goods, in-process production, and finished products to maintain quality standards.
Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to define and communicate dimensions and tolerances of manufactured parts.Essential Skills
Experience in aerospace manufacturing environment under AS9100 quality system.
Proficiency in using calipers and micrometers.
Ability to perform First Article and Final Inspections.
Strong documentation skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
CMM and CAD background is a plus.
GD&T Certification.
Shop math skills and good penmanship.
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
Typing speed of 25 wpm with excellent accuracy.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a machine shop environment where proper PPE is required as needed. Some areas may be loud and dusty. We seek candidates with a long-term mentality who are committed to maintaining the highest quality standards.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Corona, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
