Location: Trumbull, CT

Soliant Education is seeking a qualified and experienced Sign Language Interpreter for a full-time, onsite position in Trumbull, Connecticut for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract role involves working 1:1 with an elementary school student, requiring a strong interpreter with the appropriate credentials and school-based experience.

Position Details:

Full-time 32.5 hours/week

Onsite 1:1 support with elementary student

Full 2025-2026 school year

Contract through Soliant Education

Responsibilities:

Interpret spoken English into ASL and vice versa for student munication

Provide consistent, accurate, and professional interpreting support in a classroom environment

Collaborate with educators and staff to ensure student access to curriculum

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards

Support academic and social integration

Requirements:

RID/NIC certification and/or valid EIPA score (required)

Experience interpreting in a school setting (preferred)

Proficiency in American Sign Language

Ability to work independently and as part of a school team
