Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet high-quality standards and comply with customer and regulatory requirements.
1st shift: 7am to 3:30pm
$22 - $25/hr
Responsibilities
Conduct first article inspections (FAI).
Perform daily quality control (QC) tasks, including in-process, final, and component inspections.
Inspect boards from the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) process as they come off the line.
Inspect boards from both hand and machine assembly processes.
Operate Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) programs to inspect boards as needed.
Ensure all products comply with customer and regulatory standards.
Communicate quality issues to the SMT team, managers, and engineers as necessary.
Implement and improve existing QA procedures and systems.
Support engineering activities aimed at enhancing product quality to meet customer requirements.
Assist with internal quality audits and maintain relevant documentation.
Be adaptable in a small work environment, performing hand soldering and other technician tasks when necessary.Essential Skills
Experience in inspecting fully loaded PCB boards.
Proficiency with first article inspection and PCB/SMT experience.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Familiarity with hand tools and thru-hole technology.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
This position operates within a clean manufacturing environment, working from 7am to 3:30pm. The role requires adaptability and the ability to perform various tasks as needed to support the team.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Forest, California.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
