The Role at a Glance
In this Business System Analyst role you will be responsible for providing business analysis services to the business and IT partners for the Blue Prism Robotic Process (RPA) application. You will participate and execute in all areas of requirement gathering, business specifications, system design, test planning/execution, and project coordination. Additionally, you will have responsibility for configuration changes for impacted applications based on the requirements gathered, and will work with the team to define, develop and validate automation solutions that meet the needs, goals and objectives of the business.
What you'll be doing
• Utilizing expertise of Blue Prism RPA and Automation concepts and tools (Workflow, Straight Through Processing, OCR, DPA).
• Actively participating in business analyst functions related to: business rules, reports, and automation solutions.
• Acting as a resource between area of responsibility and stakeholders to ensure more complex technical requirements, needs and solutions are effectively communicated and understood by all parties.
• Managing and responding to escalation/conflict issues through to resolution.
• Participating in the planning/estimating of projects for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
• Reviewing requirements and design specifications provided by the business and work with them to update when needed.
• Configuring changes for releases, projects and enhancement requests based off gathered business requirements.
• Supporting the PM in planning and identifying tasks and estimates.
• Serving as a liaison between IT and the business.
• Assisting IT in translating business requirements into technical specifications – requiring ability to interpret the process step by step from beginning to end (identifying errors in data/missing data etc).
• Assisting Blue Prism Control Room (support) staff in monitoring, scheduling, etc.
• Successfully engaging in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Working independently with users to define concepts under direction of project managers.
• When necessary, working with a team to coordinate, plan, manage and execute QA/UAT activities for projects in addition to go-live support tasks and monthly regression testing.
• Participating in occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines.
What we’re looking for
• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
• 3-5 years of experience and a solid understanding of Blue Prism RPA software or other RPA applications
• 2+ years of professional experience, preferably in the insurance/financial service industry
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook)
• Provide clear and concise verbal and written communications
• Analytical skills to accomplish assignments with minimal supervision and must be timely and accurate.
• A demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding performance expectations
• Ability to work with others in a team environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group: executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

The pay range for this position is $93,300 - $169,700 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
