Job Title: Full Stack Application Developer

Position: Fulltime with Red Cedar Consultancy (RCC)

Location: Remote

Red Cedar is seeking a high-performing Mid-level Full Stack Developer to work within a fast-paced, remote Agile DevOps team contributing and collaborating within your scrum team daily. In this role, the Full Stack Developer will accomplish the following:

Will work within a fast-paced Agile DevOps team contributing and collaborating with your scrum team daily.

Analyze software requirements and provide solutions.

Perform analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance of software solutions.

Provide Stack software development support for User Interfaces, REST APIs, and Data Access Layers.

Ensure that the software developed passes and completes stages within the CI pipeline.

Requirements:

Minimum 7 years of Agile Software Development experience

Proficient in Java Spring Boot and JPA

Proficient in Frontend UI development with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, React

Proficient in developing data access layers with Database schemas using JPA

Experience in Web Based Stack Development

Experience developing in a Docker and Docker Compose environment

Experience writing automated tests such as unit, integration, functional, 508, performance, and end-to-end.

Experience developing in environments that utilize CI/CD tools for build, testing, secure, and deploying

Excellent communication skills

Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience working with AWS tools and environments

Experience developing in a microservices architecture

Automated Test-Driven Development (ATDD) frameworks Selenium, Nightwatch, Cucumber, JUnit/TestNG

Experience with secure development, coding, and scanning using tools such as Fortify, SonarQube, ZAP, and Twistlock/Anchore

Preferred experience with Jira or a similar scrum management tool

Experience with Asynchronous messaging preferably with Kafka. Other tools/protocols such as JMS, AMQP, and RabbitMQ acceptable

Experience deploying microservices to Kubernetes platforms such as OpenShift, EKS, AKS

Experience developing Web Services using SOAP/XML and REST/JSON

Writing queries with relational databases

Web technologies - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, jQuery

Experience with database tools such as Liquibase, Flyway, Elastic Search, Solr/Lucene

Experience working with Jenkins Continuous integration tools and DevOps automation.

DHS/USCIS experience preferred.
