Job Description
The Treasury Cash Accountant is responsible for building and executing treasury-related controllership and risk management activities. This role will own key accounting, controls, and policy monitoring processes across the global treasury function, enabling strategic financial decision-making while maintaining compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, applied knowledge of key financial control concepts governing treasury, a solid understanding of financial markets, and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment.
This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.
What Will You Be Doing?
Analyze and reconcile global cash accounts, resolving discrepancies and ensuring accurate, timely recording of transactions
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual treasury reports, assisting in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial regulations, and industry standards across cash, debt and equity
Assist with account administration including online banking access, automatic transfers and other key attributes
Support complex foreign currency and hedging program via trade entry, settlement and accounting review
Support inter-company and working capital management activities, collaborating with other departments (Tax, Legal, Corporate Accounting) to optimize cash flow
Develop and implement treasury policies and procedures
What Do You Need To Bring?
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CTP, or CFA preferred
3+ years of experience in a corporate accounting function
Strong knowledge of treasury operations, banking transactions, and financial instruments
Proficiency in financial systems and treasury management software (e.g., Peoplesoft, SAP, Kyriba, GTreasury, FXAll)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
Experience in multinational or corporate treasury functions
Knowledge of financial risk management and FX hedging
Understanding of regulatory compliance related to treasury operations
