America's Test Kitchen is looking for a Senior Video Producer to lead our team in creating content for our video-based Classes, recently relaunched with a new vision and U/X, as well as leading other video projects.
This role will involve coordinating and planning with various departments and stakeholders across ATK in order to deliver a slate of new video content. The ideal candidate has extensive on-set experience directing, producing, lighting, and shooting educational culinary content, as well as experience editing mid- and longer-form videos.
Core Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of video production for ATK’s Classes, including producing, directing, shooting, and editing content
Collaborate effectively with culinary and video teams in planning, scripting, and delivering a slate of educational videos
Manage production schedules to ensure deliverables are completed on time
Direct talent and cameras on set; lead crew in achieving the highest production quality
Hands-on experience with professional-grade cameras (especially Sony Camera Systems), lenses, grip gear, lighting, and familiarity with standard set protocols
Edit Classes and other video content, including color correction and motion graphics. Supervise edits from staff and freelance editors
Collaborate with senior team members and stakeholders on strategy and creative direction for Classes
Manage tight deadlines and multi-task to complete competing priorities efficiently
Assist with additional video production as needed
Additional Requirements
4+ years of experience directing, producing and editing video content
Experience with Sony or other professional-grade cameras
Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
Must have a collaborative team-oriented mentality
Must have great communication skills and be able to give and receive critical feedback
Culinary video experience and a passion for cooking

This position is located in our Boston, MA office in the Seaport district. It is the expectation that the person in this role will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) in the office and 2 days per week remotely.
