Job Title: HubSpot Developer – CRM & Ticketing Systems Integration Specialist

Location: Remote

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced HubSpot Developer with a strong background in customer support systems, particularly Zendesk and Jira Service Management, to lead the development and integration of scalable CRM solutions. This role is ideal for a technically proficient developer who can bridge the gap between customer service operations and CRM technology, ensuring seamless workflows and data synchronization across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

HubSpot Development & Customization

Design and develop custom modules, templates, and themes using HubL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and HubSpot CMS.

Customize HubSpot CRM and Service Hub to support advanced ticketing workflows and customer service processes.

Create and manage custom objects, properties, and pipelines tailored to support ticket lifecycle management.

Zendesk & Jira Service Management Integration

Lead the integration of Zendesk and Jira Service Management with HubSpot using REST APIs, middleware tools (e.g., Zapier, Make, or custom-built solutions).

Automate ticket creation, updates, and status synchronization between HubSpot and external ticketing platforms.

Ensure accurate mapping of customer data, ticket metadata, and communication logs across systems.

Workflow Automation & Reporting

Build and optimize workflows for ticket routing, escalation, SLA tracking, and resolution.

Develop custom dashboards and reports to monitor support KPIs such as ticket volume, resolution time, SLA compliance, and CSAT.

Implement real-time alerts and escalation triggers for high-priority or overdue tickets.

Collaboration & Support

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Customer Support, Sales, Marketing, and IT to gather requirements and deliver tailored CRM solutions.

Provide technical documentation, training, and support to internal stakeholders.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HubSpot development, integrations, and performance.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in web or CRM development, with 3+ years of hands-on experience with HubSpot.

Proven experience integrating and customizing Zendesk and/or Jira Service Management within CRM ecosystems.

Proficiency in HubSpot CMS, HubL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and REST APIs.

Strong understanding of HubSpot custom objects, workflows, and CRM architecture.

Experience with data mapping, API authentication, and error handling in integrations.

Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

HubSpot certifications (e.g., CMS for Developers, Service Hub Software, CRM Implementation).

Experience with middleware tools like Zapier, Make (Integromat), or Workato.

Familiarity with ITIL, Agile methodologies, and service management best practices.

Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control for HubSpot assets.

Knowledge of customer support KPIs and how to translate them into actionable CRM insights.
