Job Description:

Akai Space is launching an 8-week remote data cohort for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in data labeling and AI tool development. This unpaid internship is designed as a volunteer opportunity to support skill development in generative AI. Participants will contribute to data labeling tasks for AI models, analyze data insights, and assist in creating labeling tools, similar to workflows at companies like Scale AI and Roboflow. This program offers a collaborative environment with mentorship from Akai Space professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately label data for generative AI datasets, including video, image, audio, and text.

Analyze labeled data to identify patterns and provide insights for improving AI models.

Assist in the development of data labeling tools, such as creating automation scripts or contributing to collaborative projects.

Engage in team discussions and workshops to share ideas and enhance workflows.

Qualifications:

Open to individuals interested in AI, data science, or computer science (enrollment in a college program is preferred but not mandatory).

No prior experience in data labeling or programming is required; training will be provided.

Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, web development) are advantageous but not essential.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Availability to commit 5-10 hours per week for the 8-week duration.
