Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ABAP Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting ABAP solutions within the SAP landscape. This is a remote position, and we are looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in handling complex SAP projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop custom ABAP applications, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms to meet business requirements.

Work closely with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Develop and optimize SAP programs, reports, workflows, and forms (SAPscript, Smartforms, Adobe Forms).

Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to ABAP best practices and SAP development guidelines.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in SAP systems.

Support data migrations, integrations, and enhancements for SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, etc.).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for the effective implementation and deployment of SAP solutions.

Perform unit testing, system testing, and integration testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Maintain and enhance existing ABAP code and work on system optimizations.

Work on SAP upgrade and migration projects, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime.

Provide mentoring and guidance to junior developers and help enhance team skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 6 years of experience in ABAP development.

Strong expertise in ABAP programming and a deep understanding of SAP architecture and data models.

Proficiency in SAP HANA, OO ABAP, ALV Reports, BAPIs, IDocs, WebDynpro (ABAP), Fiori, and SAP Gateway.

Solid experience with SAPscript, SmartForms, and Adobe Forms for printing solutions.

Familiarity with SAP modules like FI/CO, MM, SD, and others.

Hands-on experience with SAP NetWeaver, SAP Fiori, and SAPUI5 (optional but preferred).

Strong knowledge of SQL and experience in performance tuning and optimization of ABAP code.

Experience with SAP Integration tools and technologies (RFC, Web Services, PI/PO).

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate – ABAP).

Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.

Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA).

Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications development is a bonus.

Experience with Git and Version Control systems for code management.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
