Key Responsibilities:

Data Modeling and ETL: Designing and building data models, performing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, and ensuring data quality and accuracy.

Power BI Development: Creating interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI to help stakeholders make data-driven decisions.

Data Integration: Connecting Power BI reports to various data sources, including SQL Server, Azure SQL, and cloud platforms.

Performance Optimization: Optimizing data pipelines and Power BI solutions for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Working closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Documentation and Maintenance: Creating detailed documentation, including design specifications, implementation plans, and user guides, and maintaining data pipelines and Power BI solutions.

Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data pipelines, Power BI reports, and data sources.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency in Power BI: Strong understanding of Power BI tools, including Power Query, Power Pivot, Power View, and DAX.

Data Modeling and ETL: Experience with data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.

SQL and Database Management: Expertise in SQL for database querying and potentially experience with database management systems.

Data Visualization: Ability to create effective and engaging data visualizations.

Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders and other team members.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to identify trends, patterns, and insights in data.

Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and optimize data pipelines.
