Job Description
MGNY Architects is looking for an office manager and bookkeeper for immediate hire. We are looking for someone to take over our current position, reorganize our bookkeeping, and create a smooth-running office environment.
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:
- All Bookkeeping: paying bills, invoicing, budgeting, interfacing with company accountant, and all other financial matters.
- Communicating directly with clients: creating and sending proposals, assisting with various project tasks such as scheduling meetings, etc.
- Assisting Principal and Project Managers with administrative tasks
- Day-to-day office management: answering phones, receiving mail and packages, organizing and maintaining inventory, and occasional company-related errands
Qualifications:
- Five+ years of related experience; experience in the design and construction industry is preferred.
- Proficient use of PC with expertise in Quickbooks and knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Google suite.
- Organized, proactive, and resourceful
- Willing to be a team member and handle all responsibilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
This is a part time, 16-20 hrs / week in office position. The hours and days of the week can be flexible between Monday and Thursday; 9AM - 5:30 pm, but must be consistent.
