Position Description:

ResolveSoft is seeking a Business Systems Analyst specializing in specific business processes to formulate system scope and objectives aligned with organizational business plans and industry requirements. This hybrid role involves serving as a key project team member, providing technical guidance on the business implications of various system applications. The client agency is the Defense Logistics Agency.

Your Future Duties and Responsibilities:

Act as an expert in specific business processes, formulating systems scope and objectives within the Oracle EBS 12.x framework, aligned with the organization’s business plan and industry requirements.

Serve as a project team member, providing technical guidance on the business implications of various system applications.

Conduct comprehensive fit-gap analyses to evaluate proposed solutions against business needs within the current EBS R12.x framework and during potential cloud migration planning.

Translate complex business needs into clear, detailed functional specifications (e.g., using Oracle AIM methodology documents like MD050), technical specifications, workflow diagrams, process maps, and use cases suitable for development, configuration, and testing.

Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and other IT professionals.

Required Qualifications to be Successful in this Role:

Clearance: Secret Clearance Required.

Certifications: Must have an ACTIVE Project Management Professional (PMP) certification OR other similar certification.

Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience as a Business System Analyst / Business Analyst or in a similar role focused on ERP systems.

Education: Bachelor’s degree required.

Oracle Expertise: Demonstrated deep expertise and hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) version 12.x.

Process/Tool Familiarity: Experience or knowledge of Product Support Management (PSM), Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF), ARIS system engineering tool, or SAP products for ERP.

Software Proficiency: Demonstrable experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Project Management software.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
