Electrical Assembly Test Associate

Job Description

Pay: Up to $23/hr, depending on experience

Location: Norcross, GA

Description:

The Test Associate will perform quality assurance tests on displays and controllers in accordance with testing procedures determined by Quality Assurance and Engineering departments, ensuring it operates as designed and adheres to quality standards. Test associate will maintain results records, troubleshoot issues and maintain an active communication with assembly and project packaging teams, collaborating for a smooth and efficient workflow.

Responsibilities

Move displays to and from testing area

Load mapping files onto display

Perform go/no-go display test by connecting cables and LED boards

Perform basic troubleshooting on display including wiring, connections and loaded file

Support Assembling, Quality Assurance and Engineering team during troubleshooting

Interface with assembly team bringing assembly suggestions based on visual inspections

Log test results for compliance and traceability

Log non-conformances following Quality Assurance oversight

Support development of monthly quality reports

Move displays from assembly to test area, and from test to project assembly area

Assist wrapping display after test

Qualifications

Experience in wiring and connection circuited boards

Basic computer skills

Handy and capable to work with handy tools

Attentive to detail and quality of workmanship

Work in a team environment and with specified deadlines

Capable to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams

Preferred Skills

Professional certification, such as Six Sigma, Quality Engineer

Experience in managing projects and working with cross-functional teams

Familiarity with electric and mechanical fabrication
