Job Title: Experienced Optician (32 Hours/Week)

Location: Atchison Eyecare – Bedford, Indiana

Job Type: Part-Time (32 hours/week)

Compensation: Flexible, based on experience

We are looking for an experienced optician to join our supportive team and help deliver outstanding service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist patients with frame and lens selection based on their prescription and preferences

Accurately measure and fit eyewear, and perform adjustments and repairs

Process orders and educate patients on lens options and eyewear care

Maintain a clean, organized optical area

Collaborate with team members to ensure an excellent patient experience

Assist with reception duties as needed, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and checking patients in and out

Qualifications:

1–2 years of experience as an optician (required)

Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented

Strong ability to retain and apply detailed information

Willingness to learn new skills and contribute in multiple roles

Excellent communication and customer service skills
