Position Description:

ResolveSoft is seeking a dedicated OracleSystems Engineer to manage the provisioning, operation, installation, configuration, and maintenance of system hardware, software, and related infrastructure. This role provides technical support and hands-on delivery for database planning, implementation, and ongoing operations. The Systems Engineer will drive continuous innovation through technical research and development, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. This hybrid position requires periodic on-site support at Fort Belvoir, VA, or other Washington, DC metropolitan area locations.

Your Future Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the effective provisioning, operation, installation/configuration, and maintenance of systems hardware/software/related infrastructure. Provide technical support, guidance, and hands-on delivery in the planning, implementation, and ongoing operation of databases. Participate in technical research and development to foster continuous innovation within the infrastructure. Ensure system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values and regulatory requirements. Document specifications, project plans, configurations, test plans, and results. Communicate complex ideas, project objectives, scope, and status to varied audiences and project teams.

Required Qualifications to be Successful in this Role:

Security Clearance: Secret or greater required on day one.

Five (5) years of overall professional experience in the engineering field.

Five (5) years’ experience in Oracle and/or SQL Server database administration and analysis support.

Oracle Expertise: Fully trained and experienced with Windows Server 2016/HP-UX 11.3.x, Oracle Database 11g, PL/SQL, Oracle stored procedures, database performance tuning, E-R database design, backup and recovery, systems analysis, security practices, and system documentation.

SQL Server Expertise: Fully trained and Microsoft Certified with Windows 2016, SQL Server 2012 administration, T-SQL programming, database performance tuning, backup and recovery, systems analysis, security practices, and system documentation.

Prior DAI experience is preferred
