Operator II - Signature MTO

Job Overview

Perform duties associated with operating and maintaining machinery or equipment related to the process of producing window and door products that customers perceive as having high quality and value.

Highlights of your role

Diversified machine or process operations that are moderately complex, requiring adjusting or aligning to produce to a desired outcome

Required to learn all profiles associated with signature products

Operate machine to cut various wood and metal profiles for customer orders

Check for quality accuracy based on the quality guidelines

Use of machinery and essential tools including electric, manual, and air tools

Use of essential measuring equipment

May rotate stations in a work process

Effectively working with others

Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Additional duties as assigned

Compensation

$17.50 - $23.50 per hour

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

Ability to perform autonomous maintenance on the equipment

Ability to read labels, customer orders, and may be required to read blue prints or shop drawings

Ability to work with computers and/or the ICIM program

Ability to use lift equipment and obtain the required licensure

Dependable attendance

Lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 25 pounds frequently, team lifting may be required for heavier lifting
