Job Description

We are seeking a Leasing Specialist to join our growing team! You will interact with individuals on the county "wait list" who are seeeking housing/vouchers for affordable properties. Additionally, develop relationships with property managers and/o owners to educate them on the voucher program and HUD specifications.on behalf of the clients. This opportunity will elevate the quality of life for many familiesin Maryland who are desperately in need of housing assistance. PLEASE NOTE THIS POSITION IS NOT REMOTE. Parking at the facility is free, we offer paid holidays and weekly direct deposit compensation. This is a full-time position intended for permanent hiring starting in a contract role for the first three months. Hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:00; no overtime or weekends needed.

Responsibilities:

Obtain financial documents in order to generate leases

Identify available units and arrange for property tours

Prepare market analysis to help determine property value

Educate families on the HUD voucher process

Verify documents during re-certification process after providing sufficient notice of re-cert meetings

Qualifications:

Previous experience in property management, or other related fields

Familiarity with documentation needed to participate in low income program and obtain a lease

Ability to build rapport with clients
