DOT Compliance Services – Operations Manager

Location: Scranton, PA Full-Time

Reports to: CEO

Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and build something great? DOT Compliance Services (DCS) is on the path to growth—and we’re looking for a driven, hands-on Operations Manager to help lead the charge.

This role isn’t just about managing day-to-day operations. It’s about developing DCS to its full potential by driving sales, leading strategy, and working side-by-side with the CEO and team to shape the future of the company.

If you’re passionate about compliance, experienced in FMCSA regulations and occupational medicine, and ready to grow a business from the inside out—this is your opportunity to make a real impact.

What You'll Do:

Lead and actively participate in the daily operations of DOT Compliance Services, with a strong focus on growth, strategy, and revenue generation

Work closely with the CEO and DCS team to develop and execute business development plans that expand services and increase market reach

Motivate, support, and hold the team accountable to sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

Get in the trenches: make sales calls, send marketing emails/texts, and generate new ideas to reach and retain clients

Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing expert support in FMCSA compliance and occupational medicine services

Monitor and analyze KPIs, ensuring performance targets are met while continually looking for areas to improve efficiency and profitability

Establish and oversee quality standards to ensure excellent service delivery aligned with industry regulations

Lead by example and create a culture of ownership, urgency, and accountability

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field

3+ years in operations, business development, or compliance management—preferably within the transportation or DOT/FMCSA space

Strong working knowledge of FMCSA regulations and occupational medicine practices (including DOT drug & alcohol testing and medical exams)

Hands-on leadership style with a growth mindset and sales-driven mentality

High energy, resourceful, and creative problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Proficient in project management software, CRM tools, and basic marketing/sales platforms

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally for meetings, events, and client outreach

What We Offer:

Competitive base salary

Health, dental, and vision insurance

Retirement savings plan

Paid time off and holidays

Ongoing professional development opportunities

The chance to build something meaningful and be a central part of our company’s success
