CNC Machine Operator

Our location in Muskegon, MI is looking for a Full-Time 1st shift Press Brake / Laser Machine Operator.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Sets up machine replacing gearing, cutters, and tooling

· Use of small hand tools in set up and preventative maintenance

· Use of calipers, mics, measuring fixtures, and gauges

· Ensures stock is placed properly on machine holding rack

· Removes stock from table and assembles components in welding fixture

· Removes welded part from weld fixture and places it into bender, removes tube and places in container

· Pushes dual control buttons to activate machine

· Programs machine for various cutting operations

· Other duties as assigned by supervisorRequirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED);

· and two to three years of training specifically on a brake press and laser machine; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Able to follow written and verbal communication,

· basic math skills.
