We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated IT Risk and Compliance Practice Director responsible for leading our practice in the East Region of Jefferson Wells, ensuring clients receive the highest level of service and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
· Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement the strategic vision for the IT Risk and Compliance practice within the region. Lead a team of IT professionals to deliver high-quality services.
· Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Understand their needs and provide tailored IT risk and compliance solutions.
· Risk Management: Help clients identify, assess, and manage IT risks across various domains. Develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Topical Knowledge: Have experience delivering solutions for IT audit, IT Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, cybersecurity risk and other IT security compliance topics. Familiarity with COSO, NIST, COBIT, ISO and FFIEC IT internal control frameworks is beneficial. Have experience participating in or performing reviews of systems implementations and business optimization initiatives. Have experience in the development and use of data analytics routines.
· Team Development: Mentor and develop IT Risk team members. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
· Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging risks, particularly those related to IT Risk, IT Audit, AI, cybersecurity and data privacy. Provide thought leadership and contribute to the company’s knowledge base and evolution of the practice.
· Networking: Enjoying networking to build strong connections with C-Suite leaders and other leaders (e.g., Chief Audit Executives, IT Audit Leaders, Chief Information Security Officers (CISO) and Chief Information Officers (CIO), etc.).
· Business Growth: Collaborate with sales leaders and peers in other regions to present winning solutions designed to add value to clients’ needs.
· AI Transformation: Be excited to be a leader within the AI revolution helping clients navigate the new world. Additionally, be an inspired champion as we continue to evolve our solutions to fit client delivery. Stay abreast of best practices in the use of AI and ensure that team has appropriate training/knowledge to advise our clients.
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CPA, CIA) preferred.
· Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in IT risk management, cybersecurity, IT compliance, or a related field. Proven track record of leadership and client management.
· Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Familiarity with IT risk management and security frameworks (NIST - CSF, ISO 27001, Center for Internet Security (CIS), etc.)
