Business Central ERP Developer - Remote

Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and driven Business Central ERP Developer to join our expanding development team. This newly created position is a strategic addition to a well-established organization that is entering an exciting phase of growth. You will play a critical role in building and enhancing solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to support evolving business needs and enterprise scalability.

This role is ideal for a professional who combines deep technical expertise with a solid understanding of business processes and thrives in a collaborative environment focused on innovation and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement new applications and features within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central using AL programming and Visual Studio Code.

Customize existing Business Central environments to meet business-specific requirements and improve functionality.

Work closely with product managers, analysts, and stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Integrate Business Central with other systems and services using APIs and web services.

Manage data migration from legacy platforms to Business Central, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity.

Conduct end-to-end testing of solutions, identify and resolve issues, and ensure high performance and stability.

Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including development guidelines, user manuals, and training resources.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, project managers, and QA professionals.

Lead user training sessions and provide post-deployment technical support.

Recommend and implement best practices for architecture, security, and code optimization.

Troubleshoot system and integration issues, providing root cause analysis and long-term solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Proven experience developing and customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central applications.

Proficiency in AL language and experience using Microsoft development tools like Visual Studio Code.

Strong understanding of ERP concepts, particularly in finance, supply chain, and operational workflows.

Effective problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.

Comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative environments.

Preferred experience with NAV CAL and Dynamics 365 Business Central extension development in AL, along with skills in PHP, Angular, and Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
