Our client is seeking an Oracle DBA to join their team in Las Vegas, NV. This is a remote contract opportunity!

Successful candidates excel at and enjoy:

Analyze and configure Oracle databases supporting Konami Synkros to emit user-level and system events.

Collaborate with our internal teams to align Oracle logging with existing standards used in SQL Server environment.

Set up secure and efficient data pipelines from Oracle to Cribl using agents or collectors.

Optimize logging mechanisms to ensure real-time alerting and visibility into relevant system activity.

Troubleshoot database integration and event forwarding issues.

Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal stakeholders.

Job Requirements

Your previous experience includes:

Proven experience as an Oracle DBA, ideally with exposure to Konami Synkros or similar gaming systems.

Strong understanding of Oracle logging and auditing, including enabling and customizing audit trails.

Experience with Cribl, data routing, or log aggregation tools.

Proficient in database tuning, event monitoring, and scripting (SQL/PLSQL, Bash, etc.).

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and deliver within a tight timeline.

Experience in integrating Oracle databases with SIEM or observability platforms.

Familiarity with gaming/hospitality systems and compliance requirements.

Hourly: $50-60 per hour
