Position Summary:
Responsible for purchases related to production/non-production materials, component and other miscellaneous procurements within the organization. This position is also responsible for ensuring that targets are achieved through communication, teamwork and common goals.
Key Accountabilities:
Plan and schedule supplier materials for production/non-production materials, component and other miscellaneous procurements within the organization Prioritization to demand.
Monitor, track and change system parameters in accordance to company ABC/XYZ strategies
Creation and maintenance of scheduling agreements and purchase orders
Periodic forecast review with planning team
Support Supplier Development Program
Conduct extensive follow-up activity to verify material shipment and receipt.
Prepare reports as requested.
Communicate issues to management - current status, next steps, key dates, new developments and pending problems. Escalate issues, as appropriate.
Expedite various components within scheduling parameters as required.
Effectively communicate and support team oriented environment.
Continuous improvement through suggested solutions for process improvements.
Other tasks or special projects as assigned by manager.
Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls Royce Code of Conduct.

Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Material Management or Business; and 3 years experience of supplier, or materials management. OR 7 years experience of supplier or materials management.
Ability to travel - domestic and international
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong PC computer skills
Overall knowledge and understanding of product
Attention to detail
Problem analysis and creative problem resolution
Strong knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
Strong knowledge of computer applications and/or controlled systems (SAP preferred).
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability for complex problems - multiple variables.
Strong interpersonal skills - must be able to support win-win relationships with suppliers and work effectively with others.
Strong negotiation skills
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong organization, planning and follow-up skills.
Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite.
Strong communication skills and a strong team player
Knowledge of MTU Onsite Energy and products
SAP Experience
