SummaryThe Sporting KC Premium Operations Manager, under direction of the Director of Premium, will be responsible for managing all Premium operations with a primary focus on match days. The main responsibilities will include staffing, supervision and food and beverage cost control.

The position is to be a key contributor to the premium team while ensuring all work is consistent with the Sporting KC brand purpose: “We create memories through personalized experiences with our Club.”

Job Description

Essential Functions

Must maintain a friendly, positive attitude and above all maintain a professional demeanor.

Responsible for recruiting and developing all F&B premium services staff, including suite attendants, premium bartenders, runners, etc.

Ensures superior customer service to all premium level guests.

Monitors premium bar inventory, equipment, and maintenance.

Serves as a liaison with other event staff affecting the premium levels, including security, maintenance, event services, and guest services departments.

Develops work plans including scheduling and assigns appropriate duties to subordinates within the premium level and bars.

Responsible for developing and implementing premium level training programs, policies, and procedures.

Maintain a cooperative, team-like attitude in working with executive management, supervisors, and fellow employees (including other departments).

Follow all designated opening and closing procedures to ensure areas are secure and energy efficient.

Ensure that only the highest-of-quality food and beverage presentation is served to our guests.

Enforce all liquor laws and abide by County and State Health/Sanitation as well as Sporting KC standards.

Shows flexibility by rotating to other service locations in premium department when necessary.

Promote the importance of sustainability.

Performs other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Premium.

As instructed by the Director of Premium you will assist where needed and act as a liaison for All Premium Tower Floors for Match Day.

Place All Requisitions as needed through the Purchasing Manager for All Premium Events, Match Day, Catering, Off-Site, CMNPC.

Coordinate Premium Tower and All-Inclusive Displays Are Complete, Prior To Match Day.

Ensure: Staff Arrives On-Time, Clocks-In, Signs-In, Proper Uniform, Hold Pre-Shift to Review Expectations and Execution of Event.

Work With Staffing Coordinator to Closely Monitoring Labor Costs to Stay Within Allocated %.

Ensure All Premium Associates Are Given Proper Tools to Uphold Food Safety and Responsible Alcohol Practices

Require Beginning & Ending Beverage Inventory Following Each Premium Event

Track Daily Sales and Labor

Complete Bi-Weekly Payroll, Ensuring Accuracy of Time and Tips
