TOOL SETTER (1ST SHIFT)

Ingersoll’s US operations are housed on our state-of-the-art manufacturing and marketing campus in Rockford, Illinois. We are currently accepting applications for a TOOL SETTER.
Essential job duties and Responsibilities include:
Accurate building of tooling assemblies utilizing blueprints /set-up instructions with limited supervision or assistance
Use of precision measuring equipment including Zoller, Digital Height Gage, Caliper, Micrometer and Precision Scale
Basic understanding and implementation of quality philosophies and practices
Skills/Qualifications:
Minimum one year manufacturing experience (tool setting or machining) or appropriate trade school education
Experience utilizing electronic and mechanical precision measuring instruments
High attention to detail
Strong organizational skills with a methodical approach to the workflow
Computer literate with ability to learn and navigate in-house software
Must display good work ethic and self-motivation
This is an on-site full-time 1ST shift position that may require regular overtime based on workflow demands, including long shifts and mandatory weekend work rotations.
The salary range for this position is $19-23/hr.

Candidates should be highly organized, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, maintain an organized and clean work area, possess a good work ethic, demonstrate reliable and punctual work habits with a strong attention to detail. Must demonstrate safety consciousness, be self-motivated with a proven capacity to multi-task, and conduct themselves professionally at all times.
