Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is seeking a Benefits Analyst reporting to the Total Rewards Manager in Midland, TX. This position will be responsible for supporting the administration, analysis, and compliance of benefits functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work through multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

General Responsibilities

Administer employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long-term disability, COBRA, and 401(k)/retirement plans.

Support annual Open Enrollment processes, including communications, materials preparation, system updates, employee meetings, and carrier file audits.

Ensure compliance with benefits regulations, including COBRA, HIPAA, SPD updates, FSA/HSA Nondiscrimination Testing (NDT), and other requirements.

Prepare and review documentation for benefits-related audits, including annual 401(k) audits, 1095-C reporting, and Form 5500 filings.

Partner with payroll to ensure accurate benefits deductions and resolve any discrepancies.

Maintain and update employee benefits records in the HRIS and benefits platforms.

Coordinate and manage all employee leave programs, including FMLA, ADA, parental leave, short-term disability, long-term disability, and personal leaves.

Assist in tracking equity grants, vesting schedules, and employee communications related to equity awards.

Serve as the point of contact for employees regarding benefits questions, plan coverage, claims, and related concerns.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

2–5 years of experience in benefits administration or HR analysis.

Proficiency in HRIS, payroll systems (Workday preferred) and advanced Excel skills

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

Workday Experience

Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data.

Knowledge of compliance requirements, including COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and 401(k)

Experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus.
